MRS TAKEMORI - OFFICE STAFF

Mr & Mrs Takahara and Mrs TaniguchiMrs. Ikuko Takemori started working for Japan Mission in 1985. She has been a valuable worker over the years. She plays a vital role in the office and helps us to evangelize and counsel many. She also helps us handle much of the important Japanese correspondence.

It came as a shock in 2002 when she was diagnosed with stomach cancer. After surgery and a short time of treatment, she returned to work for us with renewed strength. In mid-2008, she was again diagnosed with the early stages of cancer in a different part of her body. Due to early detection, the doctors were able to treat it successfully. Thus far there has been no relapse. We do praise the Lord for keeping her healthy and do thank you for your faithful prayers for Ikuko! Please continue to pray that the Lord would continue to give Ikuko strength to be used mightily.

Ikuko and her husband have no children and live near the Mission. Mr. Takemori is a faithful Christian who works in a local company that manufactures rubber belts of all kinds. Please pray for him as he strives to be a witness to the many non-Christians he comes into contact with.

Contact Mrs Takemori by e-mail at: jm@japanmission.org and simply put her name in the subject line and we will make sure to pass on your e-mail to her.
