Called to Serve

Japan Mission is interdenominational, not forming churches, but rather linking those reached through many avenues of ministry to already existing evangelical churches which believe and teach the fundamental doctrines of the Bible.

The Japan Mission has been "Called to Serve" Japan's approximately 7,500 churches, which have an average attendance of about 36 people. Because of their small congregations, pastors are often in need of assistance with videos, literature and evangelistic programs.

Japan Mission was founded by Neil and Peggy Verwey in 1957. God gave them a son, David, in their marriage. Now he and his wife, Sue, have been "Called to Serve" with them in Japan. Please click here to read further about the future vision of the future of the work.
