Joy Club English Camp 2000

Once again, we had the privilege of hosting a Joy Club English Camp on October 8 & 9 at the Fureai Center on Ikoma Mountain.

We praise the Lord for His gracious undertaking during the two days of camp in every respect, both spiritually and practically.

Our guest speaker on Sunday night at the camp fire was Pastor Suematsu from Shin-Osaka Chapel in Osaka.He took the opportunity of speaking on the subject of 'Why are we here?"

Students listened well and afterwards many were engaged in spiritual conversations with the various English teachers.

Do pray for lasting fruit from the Camp and that the Lord might be pleased to save souls.

We praise the Lord that the weather, which looked like it could rain at times, did not interrupt any of the meetings or activities. We were thankful for His provision of a large tarpollen sheet which was ample covering during lunch-time and the final English class which were held underneath its shelter.
